Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more with a week in advance notice for a self-guided visit. All group participants must check in together and pay with one payment to qualify for this discount. Group admission prices are: $8 for adults, $5.50 for seniors (62+) and students (ages 13-17 or with valid college ID), $1 for children (ages 5-12). Children 4 and under and Museum Members are free. At this point, all group tours are self–guided. Contact the Group Sales Office at the Natural History Museum at (213)763–3218 for complete details.

If you already know what day and time you plan to visit, you can submit a reservation request for your self-guided visit through our on-line reservation system ON LINE RESERVATIONS. Submission of this form does not guarantee your reservation, but upon receiving your request, a group sales representative will contact you to confirm your reservation. Please note we currently do not offer birthday parties, however you are welcome to book a group reservation and enjoy your day on a self guided basis.

If you are requesting a reservation for the hands-on Discovery Center or the Butterfly Pavilion of Wings (in season), contact the Group Sales office at (213)763–3218. Please note admission to our hands-on Discover Center or the Butterfly Pavilion of Wings (in season) is on limited availability and on a first-come first-serve basis when booking a reservation.

The Natural History Museum is open 7 days a week, from 9:30am to 5pm on weekdays, and 10am to 5pm on weekends and holidays.
