Help Los Angeles Win the City Nature Challenge

April 25, 2018

Dear Los Angeles County Residents & Visitors,

We need your help!

The City Nature Challenge is happening April 27-30 and this year it is a GLOBAL event! Participants include almost 70 cities from 17 different countries on 5 continents. That means there are many more opportunities for community science data to be used in research, conservation, and policy making. It also means more competition! Dallas/Fort Worth, last year's winner for total number of observations, is aiming for a repeat. San Francisco is planning to show a 30 second video during the Los Angeles vs. Giants game on April 27. Barcelona, London, Mumbai, Prague, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, Tokyo, Hong Kong and many more cities are also working for a win.

We need YOU to support Los Angeles. Here's what to do:

It's easy to participate.

We're counting on you. Get out there and participate in the City Nature Challenge! Results will be announced at high noon on May 4.

Sincerely,

The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County
