The Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County (NHMLAC) invite you to join us for the inaugural Women in Science and Culture (WiSC) event, a new annual celebration that honors the achievements of extraordinary women leaders.
Your generous participation will directly support the expansion of Adventures in Nature, NHMLAC’s signature camp program, helping ensure more girls will have access to STEM education and mentorship opportunities.
WiSC will honor two extraordinary women: Chicana activist, artist and muralist Barbara Carrasco, and seismologist Dr. Lucy Jones, founder of the Dr. Lucy Jones Center for Science and Society.
