Homeschool Days

During Homeschool Days, homeschoolers and their families receive free Museum admission and special Homeschool Day programming! We offer these dates twice a year at the Natural History Museum, each with a different theme. Advanced registration is not required to participate in Homeschool Day.

ADDITIONAL FREE DAYS & HOURS

  • L.A. County residents receive free Museum admission 3–5 pm Monday–Friday
  • The Museum also offers daily free admission to individuals who are CA EBT cardholders, CA teachers with I.D., or active/retired military, as well as children 2 and under
  • With your L.A .County Library card, you can reserve family passes to local museums and cultural institutions for free through L.A. County Library’s Discover & Go Program

Additional tickets must be purchased to see special exhibitions, Butterfly and Spider Pavilion, Dinosaur Encounters, and other special ticketed experiences. 

If you belong to a homeschool network or association, you may also want to get a group together and book through our Group Sales department for a discounted rate!
