Come to NHM and celebrate new episodes of the animated series Super Dinosaur launching on Amazon and the new comic book series of the same name by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and illustrator Jason Howard. The day will include free screenings of a new Super Dinosaur episode, comic book signing, hands-on activities, a Q&A with the creators and NHM scientists, and more. Super Dinosaur follows 10-year-old genius Derek Dynamo and his T.rex best friend Super Dinosaur as they protect the planet against evil. 

In partnership with Skybound Entertainment, season one, part one of Super Dinosaur is streaming on Amazon now, with part two coming out on Sunday, November 24.

Schedule

1–5 pm: Free screenings of a new episode of Super Dinosaur in the NHM 3D Theater; Screenings will take place every 30 minutes beginning at 1 pm and tickets will be available on site only at any of the ticket counters on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hands-on activity stations for kids, including Super Dinosaur coloring  pages and make-your-own T.rex masks. Located on the first floor in the Grand Foyer.

2–3:30 pm: Comic book signing* featuring The Walking Dead creator and Super Dinosaur writer Robert Kirkman and artist Jason Howard 

*Participation in the comic book signing comes with the required purchase of the comic book from the Natural History Museum’s Dino Store. Attendees may also bring two additional items to be signed (three total). Please note space is limited. The first 90 people in line will receive a wristband that guarantees a signed comic book after purchase. Standby wristbands will be given after the first 90 are distributed. Guests may begin to queue in the Dinosaur Hall as early as 1 pm. Wristbands will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

3:45–4:15 pm: Q&A with Robert Kirkman, Jason Howard, and NHM paleontologist Hank Woolley; Hunter, the life-size T.rex puppet will also make an appearance. Located in 2nd Floor North American Mammal Hall.
