The 2022 Teen Interns were responsible for developing a marine science education program related to the exhibition L.A. Underwater and facilitating the experience to Museum Visitors.

During the last week of the program, the interns traveled to USC’s Wrigley Marine Science Center on Catalina Island, where they kayaked, snorkeled, built connections to their interpretive work, and expanded their understanding of the Channel Islands as a unique part of Southern California’s oceanic ecosystem.
