Corinna Bechko
Preparator, Dinosaur Institute
Corinna Bechko believes every fossil has a story to share, and she cares passionately about helping the remnants of ancient life housed at NHM tell theirs. Her zoology degree, coupled with her experience working with modern wildlife in both captive and natural settings, keeps her focused on how dinosaurs and other extinct creatures interacted with their environments. Bechko is also a writer who uses her knowledge of engaging audiences to compliment her museum outreach efforts by speaking about the incredible fossils she helps prepare. Fieldwork with the Dinosaur Institute has taken her to New Mexico and Utah. She has been with the museum, first as a volunteer and then as an employee, since 2016.
