Meet some of the Ice Age minifauna still making their home in L.A.
When we think of La Brea Tar Pits, extinct megafauna like mammoths and saber-toothed cats come to mind, but a lot of the critters hopping, slithering and crawling through Los Angeles right now are survivors of the last Ice Age. Take a close look at the mural below. Do you see any animals you might find in your neighborhood?
