Rattle Snake Crossing the Road

Everybody needs to get fresh air some times, even rattlesnakes. We invite you to join Juniper for a rare slither around the grounds. Like all snakes, Juniper doesn't really do walks, instead using his muscles and scales to propel himself. Our Live Animal team tagged along to make sure Juniper got the most out of his visit to the Nature Lab and Nature Gardens.

If you encounter a rattlesnake out in the wild, don't panic! Be sure to give it the respect it deserves by backing away to a safe distance, and always make sure to watch where you're moving.
