Join the Natural History Museum for a special field trip! We’re teaming up with the California Native Plant Society for this offsite educator workshop at the tide pools. You’ll hear from Dean Pentcheff, NHM's DISCO (Diversity Initiative for the Southern California Ocean) Program Manager, and California Native Plant Society’s Education Specialist Jen Aguilar to learn more about the connection between the land, sea and plants found in unusual places. You'll not only explore the wonders of the tide pools but also participate in a student-friendly activity that you can incorporate into your classroom lessons or take along on your future field trips.
PLEASE NOTE: This Educator Workshop will take place off-site in San Pedro. Exact Meeting location and directions will be distributed upon registration.
