Join Wild L.A. co-author Dr. Greg Pauly, Curator of Herpetology, along with Dr. Max Adams, UNRC Postdoctoral Fellow, Lisa Gonzalez, Entomology Assistant Collections Manager, and Community Nature Connection for an exploration of Franklin Canyon Park. Hidden above Beverly Hills, Franklin Canyon Park is a gem full of plants, animals, and a surprising amount of Los Angeles history. Thanks to its proximity to Hollywood, the park has appeared in hundreds of TV shows and films. And, beside its well-know banks, there are also natural wonders ranging from bullfrogs to cedar trees, and sapsuckers to red-eared sliders. Together, we'll explore all that makes this park so special.

This event is a benefit for members at the Fellows Active, Alliance Circle, Curator's Circle, Director's Circle, and Sponsor's Circle levels.
