Ahoy, matey! Drop your anchor and come hear fascinating fish tales from right beneath our feet–not only from Bikini Bottom, but right here in Los Angeles! Join Dr. Bill Ludt, Assistant Curator of Ichthyology at NHM, and Museum Educator Dan Priore as they dig into L.A.'s fishy past. Discover how prehistoric predators have evolved specializations through time, from super-sized sharks to deep-sea creatures that literally glow in the dark.

Register on Zoom for the chance to ask your own questions, or stream this session on YouTube Live!

Bill Ludt, Assistant Curator of Fishes

Bill Ludt is the Assistant Curator of Fishes at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. He uses museum collections to understand the story of fishes. How and why did they get to be so diverse? What makes them so fishy–and so awesome? From their glorious gills to their fabulous fins, Dr. Ludt is looking for answers to all our fish questions.
