Free to the public, no ticket required.

This fall as the Mobile Museum school program is delivered virtually, museum guests and the public will have the opportunity to explore inside our Mobile Museum trailers every Thursday and Friday for one hour.

The Ocean Experience trailer, open on Thursdays, is a simulation of a human-occupied submersible vehicle investigating the bottom of the San Pedro Channel. The Archaeology Experience trailer, open on Fridays, is designed to simulate an archaeological site in the Santa Monica Mountains.

We will require that all visitors wear masks inside our mobile museum trailers, and use hand sanitizer before entering. We will have a hand sanitizing station outside the trailer for use and spare masks available if needed.

The Mobile Museum program is an education outreach initiative at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. These programs are free to schools thanks to the generosity of the Max H. Gluck Foundation.
