Student Webinar: Storytelling with Alan Salazar
Recommended for Grades K-8
Alan Salazar is a traditional storyteller, native educator, and a tribal elder in both the Fernandeño Tataviam and Ventureño Chumash tribes. In this live webinar, students will have the opportunity to hear a Chumash and a Tataviam creation story told by Mr. Salazar, and learn the cultural significance these stories play in the lives of the Chumash and Tataviam people today.
