Student Webinar: Storytelling with Alan Salazar

Recommended for Grades K-8

Alan Salazar is a traditional storyteller, native educator, and a tribal elder in both the Fernandeño Tataviam and Ventureño Chumash tribes. In this live webinar, students will have the opportunity to hear a Chumash and a Tataviam creation story told by Mr. Salazar,  and learn the cultural significance these stories play in the lives of the Chumash and Tataviam people today. Learn more about Alan Salazar on his website.
