Fernandeño Tataviam: The Knowledge Keepers of the Land, presented by Pamela Villaseñor

Pamela Villaseñor is Executive Advisor to the Office of the Tribal President for the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians. In this live webinar, teachers will have the opportunity to hear about tribal history directly from Pamela. She’ll share ways to support the Tribe, the importance of land conservancy, some of the Tribe’s current work, and the potential impacts of education. After hearing her stories and perspectives, museum education staff will discuss techniques and provide some tools for bringing a more complete and truthful narrative into the classroom.

This program will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel. No registration required for YouTube.
