Welcome Day: Becoming Jane
There is always something new to discover at NHM! In connection with our newest temporary exhibition, Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Jane Goodall, we welcome you to join us for a fun-filled afternoon of activities celebrating this exciting new offering.
- Get up close to local mammal specimens, normally kept behind the scenes, and chat with the scientists that study them
- Meet some of NHM’s animal ambassadors during live animal presentations
- Enjoy a guided nature walk or nature journaling activity with museum educators in the Nature Gardens
- Reflect with NHM Community Partner, WriteGirl on who you are "becoming"
- Learn about opportunities to explore and protect nature in your area from NHM's Community Science team and organizations like the L.A. Zoo and L.A. County's Safe Clean Water Program
Welcome Day activities are FREE with paid Museum Admission, or for Members. Additional ticket required for Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Jane Goodall.
