Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our visitors and staff, the museum will be closing at 3 pm on December 24 due to the impending storms. The museum will be closed Thursday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday. We will reopen Friday, December 26.

Welcome Day: L.A. Underwater

There is always something new to discover at NHM! On Saturday May 14, join us for a fun-filled day of activities in celebration of our newest temporary exhibition, L.A. Underwater. After exploring this exciting new exhibit, enjoy drop-in activity stations—sort and identify real marine fossils from the L.A. area, see amazing specimens from behind the scenes, take part in ocean-inspired crafts, and more!
