Bugs rule! There are more of them than just about any other animal on the planet, they can live anywhere, and they have amazing abilities. See examples of bugs from the rainforest, desert, and even your backyard or neighborhood park in Bugtopia, a new experience in The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation Discovery Center.

ALONG THE WAY, YOU'LL:

  • Build your own bug out of magnets.
  • Watch the entire life cycle of the sphinx moth.
  • Meet your neighbors! See macroscopic photographs of common bugs from L.A. County.

Bugtopia was made possible by The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation.

This exhibition includes live animalsDid you know the museum has a professional animal care team on site 365 days a year? They take excellent care of all animals on exhibit at the museum, utilizing the natural history expertise of our scientists as well as our veterinarian, who advises on any medical and nutritional needs. Because even a frog needs a doctor sometimes.
