This guide is designed to help young explorers navigate the Nature Gardens, encouraging them to use their senses to discover the plants and animals that call Los Angeles home. From observing "pollinator parties" to investigating local wildlife, it’s the perfect companion for a day of hands-on science and discovery.

  • Recommended Age Range: Pre-K through 5th Grade (Ages 4–11).

  • The Mission: Engage in active observation and sensory-based learning to explore the hidden ecosystems in the museum’s outdoor spaces.
