Veronica has seven years of collections care, registration, and exhibition experience working at archaeological, natural history, history, and art museums in Arizona, Colorado, and now California. At NHM, Veronica processes incoming accessions and outgoing research loans and assists with registration documentation management, database clean-up, and collections care. She has a B.A. in Art History from Arizona State University where she completed an undergraduate thesis on issues in collections management for art and anthropological collections, and an M.S. in Museum and Field Studies with a focus on Art History/Collections Management from the University of Colorado Boulder. While there, she worked at the CU Museum of Natural History processing and organizing the diatom collection while completing her thesis on the relationship between the fields of conservation and collections management and how to improve training and access to preservation resources for staff at small museums.
