BE ADVISED: On Thursday, May 14, USC Commencement ceremonies at the LA Memorial Coliseum will impact traffic, parking, and wayfinding around the Natural History Museum. Please plan your visit accordingly, and consider riding the Metro E (Expo) Line and exiting at USC/Expo station.

Getting Around Long Beach

In addition to popular car services, such as Uber or Lyft, there two useful modes of transport around the Long Beach Harbor and Downtown areas.

AquaBus

The Long Bearch AquaBus offers a convenient way to travel from the Queen Mary to some of the restaurants and bars in the Long Beach Harbor area. The cost is $1.00 US each time you board. Please have exact fare. Infants under age 2 ride free. The Captain will collect your fare on board.

You can board the AquaBus near the Queen Mary. The map below shows the four stops it makes. Please note that the AquaBus only operates during the day.

Passport Bus

The Passport is a free bus that connects you to downtown Long Beach’s finest attractions and destinations, including the Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, Pine Avenue, City Place Mall, The Pike at Rainbow Harbor, Convention Center, Shoreline Village, many downtown hotels. This is a convenient way to get to local restaurants and bars.
