John M. Cahoon, M.A.
Senior Collections Manager, History (Seaver Center for Western History Research)

John Cahoon assists visiting researchers and answers public inquiries about the center’s two-dimensional collections, which often results in publications about Los Angeles, California, and the West.

Neftali Camacho
Senior Collections Manager, Herpetology

Neftali Camacho immediately started working at the Museum after graduating with a B.S. from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2002. 

Sean Campbell
Senior Paleontological Preparator, Rancho La Brea

As a Preparator at Project 23, Sean is responsible for excavating fossils, training volunteers and students and sharing his expertise with the public.

Kenneth Campbell, Ph.D.
Curator Emeritus, Ornithology

Dr. Campbell began his tenure at the Natural History Museum in 1977 as one of two curators to fill staff positions for the newly opened George C. Page Museum, a satellite facility of the Natural History Museum.

Beau Campbell
Senior Paleontological Preparator, Dinosaur Institute

Beau Campbell is a Senior Preparator of the Dinosaur Institute at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles.

Dr. Aaron Celestian, Ph.D.
Curator, Mineral Sciences

Dr. Celestian’s currently researches how minerals interact with their environments and with living things, and how those minerals can be used to solve problems like climate change, pollution, and disease.

Luis M. Chiappe, Ph.D.

Todd Clardy, Ph.D.
Collections Manager, Ichthyology

Dr. Todd Clardy is the Collections Manager of Ichthyology. His research focuses on the taxonomy and ecology of the early life history stages of marine fishes, fish systematics and evolutionary processes.

Connie Clark
Preparator, Rancho La Brea

As a Preparator in the lab, Ms. Clarke is responsible for preparing fossils, supervising volunteers and communicating her work with museum guests.

Adam G. Clause, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow, Herpetology & Urban Nature Research Center

Adam earned his Ph.D. at the University of Georgia, where he studied how natural history and human dimensions can improve conservation practice for threatened vertebrates in California, Mexico, and Fiji.
