Dive into the mysterious world of taxidermy and explore its intersection of science, art and education by joining Museum Taxidermist, Tim Bovard, for the first Educator Workshop of the school year! In this workshop, you will learn how the Natural History Museum turns death into art by giving new life to the animals of the diorama halls, get hands on experiencing what it takes to build a diorama, network with other educators, converse on how to activate students in the diorama halls and leave with lesson plans and resources to take to your classrooms!
