We look forward to your visit. Please note, the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County will not tolerate inappropriate behavior, including, but not limited to, yelling, violence, intimidation, threats, harassment, aggression, swearing, damage, abuse, or sexual harassment. Construction Updates

Our South Entrance, which faces Exposition Park, is temporarily closed due to construction of our new wing, NHM Commons, opening summer 2024.

  • For those parking in NHM Car Park: Proceed to the green ticket booth at the east end of the parking lot. This entrance remains open.
  • For those parking in the Blue Lot or other areas around Exposition Park: Enter through our East Gate entrance, which is located across from the west end of the Rose Garden. ADA and stroller accessibility are available at this entrance.

Safety Measures and Guidelines

The Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County no longer requires masks worn at all times indoors and in our outdoor Butterfly Pavilion, regardless of vaccination status. In accordance with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, we still strongly recommend all visitors to continue wearing masks while indoors and ask that individual choices are respected. See full safety guidelines here.
