Go behind the scenes as a traditional canoe of the Gabrielino-Tongva peoples, known as a Ti’at, is delivered to NHM. Two years in the making, this miniature version of a plank canoe will receive finishing touches, including an abalone design, before it goes on display permanently in the Becoming Los Angeles exhibition.
