NHM Online Presents L.A. on Wheels, an online series celebrating the diversity of Los Angeles and its people through the lens of creative modes of transportation.

From bicycles to skateboards, lowriders to food trucks, and everything in between, Los Angeles is a dynamic hub where transportation becomes an art form and a reflection of cultural identity. This series captures the rhythm and ingenuity of the city, offering a window into the ways mobility connects us to each other and to the rich tapestry of life in L.A. L.A. on Wheels Day 2025

On November 22, 2025, NHM invited Community Partners to celebrate creativity in motion with a car and bike show, skate demos, hands-on art activities, storytelling, live presentations, and panel discussions. This one-day festival brought NHM's online series L.A. on Wheels to life, showcasing how Angelenos transform movement into a celebration of creativity and community.

Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County's History Department (Material Culture) proudly displayed its 1963 Chrysler Turbine–one of only nine left in the world.
