L.A. Student Nature Photo Contest
NHMLA is calling on Los Angeles County K - 12 students to snap and submit images of wildlife and nature — both in L.A. and all over the world! Don’t miss this chance to share your unique vision with the community.
July 11 – September 30, 2018
What to Enter
Please submit images of nature (i.e. plants, animals, fungus or slime molds).
Please consider the well-being of wild creatures and ecosystems. Respect wildlife by not disturbing or moving the subjects you are photographing.
Three winners will be selected from each grade category: First Place, Runner-up, and Honorable Mention.
- Grades K - 2
- Grades 3 - 5
- Grades 6 - 8
- Grades 9 -12
An online and onsite vote will be held at the close of the contest to draw a People's Choice winner.
* All entrants will receive a free admission ticket to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. One ticket per entrant will be sent electronically between Sept 30 - Oct 19.
